The "Huka Falls Kayak Club" was originally known as the "Huka Falls Canoe Club", which faded from existence in the mid 90s. The club was started again in April 2002 and re-named to reflect the use of the term kayaking instead of canoeing in the sport of white water paddling. Kayakers and canoeists, are all welcome in this club (regardless of how many blades their paddles have). |
